Ben
Ben, a native of West Tisbury, Massachusetts, graduated from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School before joining the United States Marine Corps in 2013. Serving as an Infantry Squad Leader with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines, until 2017, Ben honed his leadership, discipline, and understanding of canine behavior—skills that would later influence his dog training methods.
In January 2020, Ben followed his passion for dogs by enrolling in the Master Trainer course at the Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers. Over 24 weeks, he received extensive hands-on training and earned certifications in Pet Dog Training, Behavior Modification, Service Dog Training, Drug Detection, Police K9 work, and Search and Rescue.
After certification, Ben completed a three-month internship at Highland Canine, working closely with professional working dogs in real-world environments. This combination of military experience and advanced dog training provides Ben with a unique skill set to tackle a wide range of behavioral issues, from basic obedience to specialized tasks.
