//// FAQs

Private Dog Training FAQs

What’s the difference between private dog training and board and train?

With private dog training, you work alongside a Ferry Good trainer and learn to handle your dog yourself. With board and train, your dog lives and trains with us for 3 to 6 weeks, and you join for a go-home session at the end.

Can I combine private dog training with board and train?

Yes. Our hybrid option pairs private lessons with a board and train stay, so you build strong obedience and your own confidence as a handler.

What training methods do you use?

A balanced approach that mixes positive reinforcement with clear, fair corrections. Because you’re at every lesson, you learn each tool and technique hands-on and see exactly how to use it.

Do you offer private dog training near Evans and Martinez?

Do you train all breeds and sizes?

How much does private dog training cost in Augusta?

Cost depends on the plan that’s right for your dog. After your free evaluation, we’ll give you clear pricing. Financing is available, and military members and first responders get 10% off.

What happens after private dog training ends?

You’re never on your own. Every client gets lifetime phone and text support, and additional in-person sessions are available separately.

Is private dog training right for my dog?

Private dog training is a great fit if you want to be hands-on and learn to handle your dog yourself. If you’d rather a trainer do the daily work, board and train may be the better choice. We’ll recommend the best option at your free evaluation.
